OPERATION
You can use this stick blender set to quickly and easily
mix, beat or chop various types of foodstuffs. The
motor unit can be connected to a stick blender or a
beater for mixing or beating liquids and sauces. The
motor unit can also be connected to the chopper for
chopping vegetables, fruits, meat or soft nuts. This set is
completed by a wall holder for the stick blender and the
beater.
USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Remove all packaging from the appliance.
• Attach the wall holder to the wall (if desired).
• Clean the appliance, see 'Cleaning and Maintenance'.
• Continue with the procedure in ‘Using the appliance’.
USING THE APPLIANCE
NOTE
• Do not use the appliance continuously for longer than
1 minute. Do not use it continuously for longer than
15 seconds for thick mixtures. Allow the motor to cool
down for a couple of minutes.
• Use the appliance in short pulses. This gives a better
result and will not damage the motor.
• Use small quantities of food. The appliance has not
been designed to be used with large quantities of
food.
• Do not use the appliance to mix boiling liquids. If you
wish to mix hot liquids, first remove the pan from the
heat source and allow the liquid to cool. This prevents
burns due to splashing hot liquids.
• If you mix liquids in a large pan, make sure the level
of the liquid is never higher than the connections
between the stick blender and the motor unit.
Using the stick blender or beater
• Attach the stick blender or beater to the motor unit.
Slide the stick blender or beater onto the motor unit
and rotate the stick blender or beater clockwise until it
clicks into place.
• Place the ingredients in a mixing bowl or a pan.
• To prevent splashes, fully immerse the stick blender’s
beater or blades in the ingredients.
• Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
• Press the On/Off button to turn on the appliance.
Operate the appliance in short on/off pulses to
prevent it from overheating.
• Carefully move the appliance up and down and make
circular movements to mix the ingredients.
• Release the On/Off button to turn off the appliance.
• After use, remove the plug from the wall socket.
• Remove the stick blender or beater from the motor
unit.
• Clean the motor unit and the stick blender or beater
(see ‘Cleaning and maintenance’).
