HEATING THE APPLIANCE

Plug the appliance into the mains. To switch

the appliance on, slide the I/0 switch to the

(I). The LED indicator light will glow red to

indicate that the appliance is in use. Allow

the unit 60 seconds to heat up.

STYLING

Continuous Crimping

Start by separating a 2 inch section of hair,

section your hair using sectioning clips,

gently place the hair between the crimping

rollers as close to the roots as you desire and

clamp down ﬁrmly on the handle. Using your

free hand twist the dial in an anti-clockwise

manner (if using left hand) or clockwise (if

using right hand) to feed the hair through the

crimping rollers. As you twist the dial ensure

you do this slowly as the longer the hair

remains in the crimping rollers the tighter the

crimp. For ﬁne hair try 3-4 seconds from the

start of the dial twist rotation of the dial to

completing the full turn. For Thick hair try 4-8

seconds for a full dial twist rotation. If you

ﬁnd the heat or the crimp is too much try for

less time and likewise if the heat or crimp are

not enough increase the time.

For best results ensure your hair is

thoroughly brushed and tangle free and

the comb guides will ensure the crimp is

perfectly aligned. If you are struggling try a

smaller section of hair or apply less pressure

when clamping the handle closed.

Root Lift

Crimping the roots of your hair is perfect

for root lift adding volume to your style.

Take the top section of your hair using a

sectioning clip and ﬁx on the top of your

head. Now crimp the underneath layers.

Take a 2 inch section of hair and hold

horizontal, place hair between the crimping

rollers at the root and clamp down ﬁrmly,

twist the dial rolling down the hair roughly

2 inches, release the clamp and remove the

crimper. Repeat with the next layer until you

have the desired area crimped. Release the

top section of hair and style the hair.

Accent Crimps

For more Creative and edgy looks try

crimping sections of your hair rather than

the entire head. Experiment by crimping

anywhere along the length of the hair.

hair, perhaps the ends, mid-section or just a

few full lengths of hair.

STORAGE

Always unplug when not in use.

Allow the appliance to cool before storing.

Always store in a dry location. Do not pull or

twist the cord. Do not wrap the cord around

the appliance, as this may cause the cord

to wear prematurely and break. If the power

cord of this appliance becomes damaged,

it must be replaced by returning to the

retailer from which the appliance was

purchased, or a similarly qualiﬁed person,

in order to avoid a hazard. Regularly check

the power cord for wear and damage

(particularly where it enters the appliance

and the plug).

CLEANING

Always unplug the appliance from the mains

after use and allow it to cool before cleaning.

To clean, wipe the straightener and plates

with a damp cloth. Ensure the appliance is

completely dry before use and that heated

surfaces on the unit are free of dust, dirt,

styling sprays and gels.
