Next ﬁll the container with a sufﬁcient supply of water (#24466 =

min. 1 l/#24468 = min. 0.5 l). Do not let the pump run without

water. If you hear that the pump sucks in air and is louder than

usual, the water level is too low. Fill in more waterimmediately.

5. Connect the plug to a mains socket.

6. The adjustable pump allows you to adjust the jet of water

yourself. To do that, move the slider on the pump in the

direction of plus or minus.

Please note:

• Make sure that the hose of the upper part is connected to

the pump.

• Never let the pump run without water or with a water level

that is too low.

• Unplug the device before doing any maintenance.

• Do not touch any moving parts.

• Please do not use the device outdoors.

• Do not pull on the cord to unplug the device. Instead, pull on

the plug.

• Do not use Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini if the power cable or the

plug are damaged, when it has malfunctioned, was dropped or

damaged in any other way.

• Make sure that the power plug does not get wet and is not

plugged in when wet. It is recommended to use a socket that is

positioned higher than the drinking fountain.

• Please note that this device should not be disposed of with the

household waste. Take it to a disposal facility that corresponds

to the device category.

• The pump included and the adaptor are available separately as

replacement parts (item no. 24466-30).

Cleaning:

If Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini is used by one pet, the water should

be changed at least every two days. Filter and pump should be

cleaned once a week (depending how often the device is used).

In shorter time spans if the device is used by several animals.

The pump is easy to remove for cleaning with the two suction

cups, and the plastic parts and the ﬁlter can be cleaned. The

fountain itself is made of ceramic and therefore dishwasher safe.

For hard water it is recommended not to use tap water, but

still mineral water instead. If you do use hard tap water, the

pump needs to be cleaned more often to prevent calcifying.

Otherwise it could become necessary to treat the pump with a

decalciﬁer from time to time.

Acquainting your pet with the fountain:

To acquaint easily scared pets with Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini,

place e.g. some treats on the rim of the fountain. That way,

your pet connects the fountain Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini with a

positive experience.

Warranty:

The manufacturer grants a one-year warranty for defects of this

product that are due to faulty material or faulty production.

Faulty devices are repaired by the manufacturer free of charge

or replaced at the choice of the manufacturer provided that the

defect was not caused by negligence, misuse or normal wear

and tear. The warranty time starts when the device is handed

over. The time of the handover has to be established by pre-

senting the receipt.

Veuillez lire avec attention les instructions suivantes avant d'utili-

ser l'appareil, et les conserver pour les consulter ultérieurement.

La fontaine à boire Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini est une fontaine

rafraîchissante pour votre animal. Beaucoup de chats et de

chiens préfèrent boire l'eau courante. Au contraire d'une eau

stagnante dans l'écuelle, elle ressemble aux sources naturelles

d'eau comme le ruisseau et les étangs. Certains animaux ne

boivent jamais l'eau de leur écuelle, et à cause de cela ne sont

pas sufﬁsamment hydratés.

Dans ce cas, Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini est la solution idéale. Elle

apporte l'eau courante et encourage l'animal à boire. Les bulles

enrichissent l'eau en oxygène et la rafraichissent naturellement.

Un ﬁltre additionnel nettoie l'eau.

Première utilisation:

1. Guidez d'abord le câble électrique de la pompe dans la gaine de

câble et hors de l'intérieur du bol.

2. Connectez-le ensuite à l'adaptateur et placez le ﬁltre autour de

la pompe comme protection.

3. La pompe est ﬁxée par le tuyau à la partie haute de la fontaine

à boire. Placez ensuite le couvercle du bac et ﬁxez la pompe au

sol avec les ventouses.

4. Remplissez ensuite le bac avec sufﬁsamment d'eau

(#24466 =

min. 1 l/#24468 = min. 0,5 l). Ne laissez pas la pompe tourner

sans eau. Si vous entendez de l'air dans la pompe, et un bruit

plus fort qu'habituellement, le niveau d'eau est trop bas.

Remplissez immédiatement d'eau.

5. Branchez l'appareil à une prise de courant .

6. La pompe réglable vous permet de régler vous-même le débit

d'eau. Pour cela, déplacez le curseur de la pompe en direction

de plus ou moins.

Veuillez noter:

• Assurez-vous que le tuyau de la partie haute est connecté à la

pompe.

• Ne laissez jamais la pompe tourner sans eau ou avec un niveau

d'eau trop bas.

• Débranchez l'appareil avant de faire l'entretien.

• Ne touchez pas aux parties amovibles.

• N'utilisez pas l'appareil à l'extérieur.

• Ne tirez pas sur le cordon pour débrancher l'appareil.

• N'utilisez pas Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini si le câble électrique

ou la prise sont endommagés, lorsqu'il fonctionne mal, a fait

une chute, ou s'est abimé pour d'autres raisons.

• Assurez-vous que la prise électrique n'est pas mouillée , et ne

soit pas branchée si elle est humide.Il est recommandé d'utiliser

une prise positionnée plus haut que la fontaine à boire.

• Veuillez noter que l'appareil ne doit pas être jeté avec les

déchets ménagers. Déposez-le dans un endroit prévu à cet effet

et correspon dant à la catégorie de l'appareil.

• La pompe et l'adaptateurs inclus sont disponibles séparemment

en pièces détachées (ref 24466-30).

Nettoyage:

Si Vital Flow/Vital Flow Mini est utilisée par un animal, l'eau doit

être changée au moins tous les deux jours. Le ﬁltre et la pompe

doivent être nettoyés une fois par semaine (selon la durée

d'utilisation de l'appareil). Si l'appareil est utilisé par plusieurs

animaux, la fréquence de nettoyage doit être augmentée.
