C onne ct the c old w ate r supply hose t o a thre ad ed 3/4 (inch ) connector an d make su re

t hat it is f astened tight ly in place.

I f the wat er pipes are new or have no t been use d for an extended period of t ime , let the

w ate r run to make sure that the water is clear. This p recaut ion is needed to avoid the

r isk of the w ater in let to be blocked an d d amage the applian ce.

Th e w ater suppl y to the app lianc e ca n also be connec ted to the house hold hot water

line (su ch a s, centra l system, he atin g sy stem ),as lon g as it does not e xce ed a

temper ature of 60 C. In this case , th e wash cycle ti me will be shor tene d b y ab out 15

minutes andthe wash efficiency slightly reduced.

Th e co nnection mu st be ma de to the hot wate r l ine followi ng the same procedu res as

described inthe section for the connection to the cold water line.

Insert the drai nho se into a dra in pipe with a minimu m di ameter o f 4cm, o r let it run i nto the sink , making sur e to

avoid bendingor crimping. Use the special plastic support that comes withthe appliance. The free end ofthehose

must be at a heigh t be tween 40 and 100 cm and must not be imme rsed in w ater.

WARNING!

Improper connection of the equipment earthing conductor can result in the r isk of an electric shock.

Check with a qualified electrician or service representative if you are in doubt whether the

appliance is properly earthed.

Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance. If the plug does not fit properly to the outlet,

please have a qualified electrician to install a proper outlet.

In or der to avoid that there is more water staying in the inlet hose, please close

the hydrant after using.(Not applicable to appliances without aqua-stop.)
