Maintenance
ALWAYS disconnect the hood from the mains before
performing maintenance.
Grease filter maintenance
Once a month wash the grease filter by hand or in a
dishwasher at a low temperature and with a short cycle.
How to carry out grease filter maintenance:
1. Pull out the steam deflector.
2. Remove the extraction grille.
3. Release the grease filter.
4. Remove the dirty grease filter.
5. After the grease filter has been cleaned, remount in
reverse order, making sure the entire extraction surface is
covered.
Renewing bulbs:
Before doing so, check that the lamps have cooled down.
1. Open the lighting unit.
2. Remove the burnt-out bulb and insert a new one.
Use only 11 W (max) PL bulbs.
3. Close the lighting unit.
Carbon filter maintenance
The carbon filter cannot be washed or regenerated and must
be changed every 4 months.
Fitting or replacing the carbon filter:
1. Pull out the steam deflector.
2. Remove the extraction grille.
3. If a carbon filter is already mounted and needs replacing,
press the release buttons (b) and pull the filter out
downwards.
4. If the filters are not mounted.
a. fit the carbon filter into the upper clips.
b. fasten the filter using the lower clips.
5. Remount the extractor grille.
CONTROL PANEL
Light switch.
The switch has two positions (lights OFF - lights ON).
To switch on the lights: move the switch to the right.
Speed selector switch.
The extraction speed switch has 3 settings, depending on
the amount of steam and fumes.
To increase the extraction speed: move the switch to the
right.
