PROGRAMMES
For choosing the appropriate pr ogramme for your kind of
laundry, alw ays respe ct the instructions on the care labels of
the laundry. The v alue given in the tub symbol is the maximum
temperature possible for w ashing the garment.
Rapid 30’
F or washing lightly soiled garments quickly . This c ycle lasts only 30 minutes,
saving time and energy .
Eco 40-60
F or washing normally soiled cotton garments declared to be w ashable at 40
°C or 60 °C, together in the same cycle. This is the standard cotton progr amme
and the most efficient in terms of water and energy c onsumption.
Aqua sav er
Lightly soiled laundry made of synthetic fifibres, or synthetics mixed with
cotton garments. Saving pr ogramme with a ver y low water c onsumption. Use
liquid detergent and the low est recommended amount f or 2.5kg laundr y. Do
not use softener .
Colours
White and pastel shaded garments made of delicate fabrics .
Gentle wash programme t o avoid gra ying or yellowing of y our laundry. Use
heavy duty detergent, if necessary also stain removers or bleaches on o xygen
basis. Do not use liquid detergent.
Jeans
T urn gar ments inside- out before w ashing and use a liquid detergent.
Hygiene
This program r emoves 99 % of bacteria while washing normally to heavily
soiled bed linen, table linen and underwear , towels, shirts etc. made of cotton
and linen.
20 °C
F or washing lightly soiled cotton garments , at a temperatur e of 20 °C.
Rinse & Spin
Separate rinse and intensive spin pr ogramme. F or robust
laundry.
Spin
Spins the load then empties the water . F or robust laundry.
W ool
All wool garments can be washed using prog ramme ‚ “Wool“ ev en those
carrying the “hand-wash only “ label. F or best results, use special detergents
and do not ex ceed max kg declaration of laundry.
Delicates
F or washing particularly delicate garments. Pref erably turn garments inside
out before washing .
Synthetics
F or washing soiled garments made from synthetic fibres (such as poly ester ,
polyacrylic, viscose, etc.) or cott on/synthetic blends.
Cotton
Normally to heavily soiled and robust cott ons .
Mixed
F or washing lightly to normally soiled resilient garments in c otton, linen,
synthetic fibres and mixed fibr es.
FIRST TIME USE
T o remov e any manufacturing debris select the “Cotton“ programme at
a temperature of 95°C. P our a small quantity of detergent powder into the
main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser (maximum 1/3 of the
quantity the detergent manufacturer recommends f or lightly soiled laundr y).
Start the programme without adding any laundry .
DAIL Y USE
Prepar e your laundry according to the rec ommendations in the “HINTS
AND TIPS“ sec tion. Load the laundry , close the drum door and check that
it is closed properly . Pour in the detergent and an y additives. Observe the
dosing recommendations on the deter gent pack. Close the lid. Turn the
programme selector to the desir ed programme and select any option if
needed. The display shows the duration of the selected prog ramme (in hours
and minutes), and the indicator for the “Star t/P ause“ button flashes. The
temperature and spin speed can be changed b y pressing the “ T emperature“
button or the “Spin“ button. Open the tap and pr ess the “Start/Pause“
button to start the wash cycle. The “Star t/Pause“ indicator will lights up
and the door will be locked. Due to variations in load and tempera ture of inlet
water , the remaining time is newly calculated in certain programme phases . If
this is the case, an
animation appears on the time display .
P A USE OR CHANGE A RUNNING PROGRAMME
T o pause the wash cycle, press the “Star t/Pause“ button , the indicator light
blinks. Select any new programme , temperature, options or spin speed if you
wish to change those settings. P ress the “Star t/Pause“ button again to
start the wash c ycle from the point at which it w as interrupted. Do not add
detergent f or this programme .
DOOR OPEN INDICA TOR
Before starting and after the end of a programme, the “Door open“
indicator lights to show tha t the lid can be opened. As long as a wash
programme is running , the lid remains locked and must on no accoun t be
forced open. In case you ha ve an urgent need t o open it during a running
programme , for example to add mor e laundry, or to r emove laundry
which was loaded by mistake, pr ess the “Start/Pause“ button. If the
temperature is not t oo high, the “Door open“ indicator light turns on.
It may last a while until you can open the lid. P ress “Star t/Pause“ to
proceed with the prog ramme again.
PROGRAMME END
The “Door open“ indicator lights up and the display show s . Turn the
programme selector to the “O “ position and close the water tap. Open the
lid and drum and unload the machine. Lea ve the Lid open for some time t o
allow the interior of the machine to dry . After about a quarter of an hour ,
the washing machine will switch off completely to sa ve energy .
T o cancel a running progr amme before the end of cycle, pr ess the
“Reset/Drain“ button for at least 3 seconds . The wat er is drained out. It
may last a while until you can open the lid .
OPTIONS
! When the combination of programme and additional option(s) is not
possible, the indication lights switch o aut omatically .
! Unsuitable combinations of options ar e deselected automatically .
Colours 15°
Saves energy used f or water heating while maintaining a good w ash
result. Supports colour maintenance when washing colour ed laundry.
Recommendable for lightly soiled laundry without stains. Make sure that your
detergent is suitable f or cold wash temperatur es.
FreshC are
Select this option if you cannot unload the laundr y soon after programme
end, or if you tend t o forget the laundry in your washing machine. It will
help to keep your laundry fresh. The washing machine will star t to tumble
the laundry periodically af ter programme end . The light of the “F resh care“
button will blink while this function is active, and the display will show an
animation. The periodic tumbling will last up to approximately 6 hours after
the end of your wash prog ramme, and you can st op it at any time by pr essing
the “F resh care“ button. It will last a while until you can open the door . After
the “F resh care“ period has run out, the display indicates .
T empera ture
Every programme has a predefined temper ature . If you want to change the
temperature , press the “ T emperature“ button. The value appears on the
display .
Start delay
T o set the selected programme to start at a later time, pr ess the “Start delay“
button to set the desired dela y time. The lamp for the
“Start delay“ option button lights up , and it goes off when the programme
starts. Once having pressed the “Star t/Pause“ button, the countdown
of the time delay begins. Number of hours pr e-selec ted can be reduced b y
pressing the “Star t delay “ button again. Do not use liquid detergent
when activating this option. T o cancel the “Star t delay “ tur n the
programme selector to another position.
Rapid
Enables quicker washing by shortening the programme duration.
Recommendable for small loads or only lightly soiled laundry .
Prew ash
Only for heavily soiled loads (f or example sand, granular dirt). Increases the
cycle time by approximat ely 15 min. Do not use liquid detergent f or the main
wash when activating the Prewash option.
Intensive rinse
Helps to avoid det ergent residues in the laundry by extending the rinse
phase. P ar ticularly suitable for washing baby laundry, f or people suffering
from allergies and f or areas with soft water .
Spin
Every programme has a predefined spin speed . If you want to change the
spin speed, press the “Spin“ button. If spin speed “0“ is selected, the final
spinning is cancelled but intermediate spin peaks r emain during the rinse.
The water is drained out only .
