CONNECTION

C onn ect the c old water supply hose t o a thread ed 3/4 (inc h) conne ctor and mak e su re

t hat i t is fastened tig ht ly in place.

I f the water pipe s are new or hav e no t been used for an ext ended perio d of time , let the

w ate r r un to make sure that the wat er is clea r. Thi s p re caution i s needed to avoid th e

r isk of the w ate r in let to be blocked and damage the a ppliance.

Th e wa ter suppl y to the app lianc e ca n al so be co nnected to t he house hold hot water

line (such as, c entral system, heatin g sy stem),as long as it does not exceed a

temper ature of 60 C. In t his case, the wash cycle tim e wil l be shortene d by about 15

minutes andthe wash efficiency slightly reduced.

Th e co nnecti on must be made to the hot wate r lin e fo llo wing the s ame procedu res as

described in the section for the connection to the cold water line.

Improper connection of the equipment earthing conductor can result in the risk of an

electric shock.

Check with a qualified elect rician or service representative if you are in doubt whether the

appliance is properly earthed.

Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance. If the plug does not fit properly to the

outlet, please have a qualified electr ician to install a proper outlet.

In or der to avoid th at there ismore water staying in the inlet hose, please c lose

the hydrant after using.(Not applicable to appli ances without aqua-stop.)

Insert the drain h ose into ad rain pipe with a minimum diameter of 4cm, or let it r un into thes ink, making sure to

avoid bending or crimping it. Use the special plasticsupport that comes with the appliance . The top of the hose

must be at a heig ht b etween 40 an d 1 00cm. Th e fr ee e nd o f t he hose must n ot b e imm er sed in wa ter to a void the

back flow of it.

Note: Th e d ra in hose of this applian ce must only be conn ecte dto a dirty wat er dra in. Wate r mu st not be

discharged in to a fr esh water d ra in.
