Sympton Cause Correction
No power The power plug is discon-
nected
Connect the power plug into the
wall outlet
No picture
• The TV is not set into re-
ceive DVD signal output
• The video cable is not con-
nected securely
• The DVD video mode is not
matched with the TV
• Select the appropriate video
input on the TV so the picture
from the DVD player appears on
the TV screen
• Connect the video cable into the
jacks securely
• Refer to connecting to a TV
No sound
• The audio cable is not con-
nected securely
• The power of the equipment
with the audio cable is
turned off
• The setting of output sound

• Connect the audio cable into the
jacks
