The technical parameters are given on the data plate of the product.

The ZELMER kettle meets the requirements of the standards in force.

The appliance is compliant with the requirements of the following directives:

The Low Voltage Directive (LVD) – 2006/95/EC. –

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) – 2004/108/EC. –

The product is afxed with a CE Mark on the data plate.

Features:

1. Electronic control, boiling and “keep warm” features.

2. Rapid boiling 3 kW.

3. 1.5 liter capacity.

4. „Spectrum” lighting.

a) Boiling mode – change of colour from blue to red.

b) Keep warm mode – soft, changing illumination.

c) Keep warm function – the color of the lamp indicates the set tem-

perature.

5. A wide choice of temperatures on the temperature control selector:

temperature ideal for coffee, tea, etc.

6. A possibility of rapid water boiling with the keep warm mode.

7. A precise control of the temperature: between +/- 3°C.

8. A shut off switch which disconnects power immediately after water

has boiled. In the event that en empty kettle is switched on,, boil-dry

protection will prevent the heating elements from overheating.

Preparation of the electric kettle for operation

Before the rst use, wash the kettle inside (for washing instructions

see “Cleaning and maintenance”), ll it with water up to the “max”

level, and let it boil four times (use fresh water each time) and wash

again.

Operating instructions of the electric kettle

Move the lid release button – (5) in the direction shown on the diagram

and open the kettle lid.

Place the lter – (9) in the kettle – if it was taken out before.

Fill the kettle up with the desired amount of water (the level is visible –

on the indicator (3)).

Do not boil the water if it is below the minimum level or beyond –

the maximum level on the indicator (3).

Close the lid. –

Place the kettle on the power base – (4).

Put the plug of the connecting cord into a mains socket with an earth –

pin.

Set the temperature with the regulator – (10).

Switch the kettle on by pressing button – (6) – the light will come on.
