Electronic Time Switch

Function:

Connect devices to the DTS-814 to

have them switch on and off automat-

ically.

The switching assignments are per-

formed to the exact minute.

Up to a maximum of 20 different

on and off switching times may be

programmed; these can be repeated

daily, weekly or for only part of the

week, according to your requirements.

A built-in rechargeable battery main-

tains the time and programming data

in case of a mains power outage and

allows you to program the switching

times with the timer disconnected

from the outlet.

Preparation:

3. Set the on/off switch of the device

or lamp you’ll be connecting to the

on position

To set the actual day and time:

Press and hold the CLOCK

button during the setup.

Repeatedly press the DAY

button (or briefly press and

hold) to set the day (*)

Repeatedly press the HOUR

button (or briefly press and

hold) to set the hours

Repeatedly press the MIN

button (or briefly press and

hold) to set the minutes

Finally release the CLOCK button

and the actual time and day are now

stored

*: MO = Monday

TU = Tuesday

WE = Wednesday

TH = Thursday

FR = Friday

SA = Saturday

SU = Sunday

DTS-814

Daylight saving time:

Press and hold the CLOCK

button for 3 seconds to set

the clock to summer time;

press and hold again for 3

seconds to set to winter time

Set to

summer time

To set the switching times:

Up to a maximum of 20 different

on and off switching times may be

programmed; these can be repeated

daily, weekly or on a combination of

days, according to your requirements.

Repeatedly press the SET

button to select your desired

programme step and to

determine whether this must

be a switch on time (ON) or

switch off time (OFF)

Repeatedly press the DAY

button to set the day or a

combination of days

Repeatedly press the HOUR

button (or briefly press and

hold) to set the hour

Repeatedly press the MIN

button (or briefly press and

hold) to set the minutes

Press the SET button to

program the following pro-

gramme step

or press the CLOCK button

to end the programming

process

To check & adjust the switching

times:

Repeatedly press the SET

button; the display shows all

programme steps one after

the other

To change:

Use the DAY, HOUR or MIN

button to adjust the selected

programme step

To remove:

Use the SET button to recall

the concerned programme

step in the display

Press the RECALL button to

delete this step; the display

now shows: --:--

To undo a deletion:

Use the SET button to recall

the concerned programme

step in the display

Press the RECALL button

and the switching assign-

ment will be active again
