The seal of approv al E (in a circle) and the appr oval number
are located on the orange approv al label (a sck er on the
child seat). The child seat is designed f or a child with weight
of 0-25 kg, approxima tely fr om birth to 7 year s old.
It is important tha t you read this user manual BEF ORE installing
your child seat. Incorr ect installaon and/ or misuse of the seat
could endanger y our child. This user manual should be k ept in

to engage it with the ISOFIX Anchoring
Poin t with a click sound. Repeat
the acon on the other side to

Please ensure the vehicle sea t on which the
child seat is inst alled is in the upright posion if the vehicle
seat is reclinable.
1. Fit the ISOFIX inseron guides
to the vehicle’ s ISOFIX Anchoring
Poin ts which are loca ted between
the surf ace and backrest of the
vehicle seat.
The child seat must not be used r earward- facing on
a vehicle seat with acve airbag. An acve airbag will cause
serious injury to a child in rearwar d-facing child seat. The child
seat must be inst alled on a vehicle seat without acve airbag or
with airbag deacvated.
A VOV A Swan-Fix is approv ed for child w eight
0-18 kg in the rearwar d-f acing direcon, and 9-25 kg in
the forw ard-f acing direcon.
Only use the child seat in the rearw ard-f acing
direcon when your child is less than 9 kg in weight. Once your
child reaches 9 kg, you can use the child sea t in either the
rearwar d-f acing direcon or the forwar d-facing dir econ. Once
your child reaches 18 kg, y ou must use the child seat in f orward
facing dir econ.
Do not use lubricants on or modify in an y wa y your
AV OVA Swan-Fix as this could seriously affect its ability to
prot ect your child.
Use on the rear seat: Mo ve the fron t seat f orward f ar
enough that the child’ s f eet cannot reach the backr est of the front
seat as that is saf er .
The rigid items and plasc parts of a Sw an-Fix shall
be so locat ed and installed tha t they are not liable, during ev eryday
use of the vehicle, to bec ome trapped by a mo vable seat or in a
door of the vehicle.
Please do not expose the child seat unde r
intensiv e direct sunlight. Under in tensive dir ect sunlight,
the child seat or some of the child seat parts c an get very
hot which can cause harm to the child.

For childre n below 18 kg in weight, Sw an-Fix
can only be inst alled on vehicle seats with ISOFIX Anchoring
Poin ts . Please check Vehicle T ype List for informaon.

tear when using child seats. In or der to a void that, car sea t

5. Push the child seat firmly
towar ds the vehicle seat backrest
as far back as possible unl it rests
agains t the vehicle seat backr est.
Please check that the
child seat is connect ed securely by
trying to pull it out from both sides.

It is suggested to use ISOFIX inseron guides
to facilitat e the installa on. They help to prev ent damages to
the vehicle seat. If the v ehicle seat can be f olded, remov e the
ISOFIX inseron guides bef ore doing so.

home use and can only be used in a vehicle.

child’ s shoulder s exceed the highest posion of the shoulder
belt guide ① , the child must change t o a seat which is
suitable f or larger childr en.
Only use the 5-point harness to secur e your child
when he/ she is less than 15 kg in weight. Once y our child r eaches
18 kg and over , you must use the vehicle’ s 3-point belt.
Alwa ys use the Newborn Insert ⑭ before y our
child is 13 kg in weight.
Alwa ys use the Support Leg ⑩ to install the
child seat along with ISOFIX Connector s ⑤ bef ore the child
reaches 15 kg. The Support Leg shall be in con tact with the
vehicle floor , without Support Leg Indicator ⑧ showing red.
DANGER Do not use an y load bearing contact points other
than those described in this user manual and mark ed on the
child seat.
A VOV A Swan-Fix is a univer sal child seat with
installa on on vehicles by 3-point saf ety belt for children
between 15 and 25 kg, and is compa ble with most but not all
vehicle seats. For suit able posions in your vehicle, please read
your vehicle handbook.
DANGER A VOV A Swan-Fix is a semi-univ ersal child sea t for
children from birth to 25 kg. Inst allaon uses ISOFIX and Support
Leg from birth to 18 kg, or uses ISOFIX and 3-point belt fr om 15
to 25 kg. For suitable posions in your vehicle, re f er to the
V ehicle Fing List and your vehicle handbook.
Please adjust the support leg ⑩ to its short est
posion so it will not interfer e with the installaon.
Never leave your child una ended in the child seat.
Please dispose of your child seat in the e vent of an y
vehicle and/ or violent collision as the child sea t ma y be damag ed but
the damage ma y not be immediately visible.

A VOV A Swan-Fix has a Seat Shell that c an be rota ted 360 degrees
on the child seat Base. When your child is less than 9 kg in
weight alway s secure he/ she in the rearw ard-f acing direcon.
When your child is between 9 kg and 18 kg in w eight, secure
he/she in either the rearw ard-f acing direcon or forw ard-f ac-
ing direcon. When your child is over 18 kg in weigh t, secure
he/she in the forwar d facing dire con. The child seat can be
rot ated to f acing the sides (like tow ards the v ehicle door) for
easy access only . But NEVER tr ansport your child in this way .
