Speed adjustment

The speed of the machine can be set according to the

material, which has to be grinded.

The speed depends on the hardness of the material,

the quality and grain-size of the sanding-paper. The

values listed below can give you a rough recommen-

dation. To find out the most suitable speed, you have

to check with a rest-piece or at a non-visible place of

your workpiece.

Position 1 - minimum speed

Position 6 - maximum speed

Usage grain-size speed

Grinding old varnish 60-80 4-6

De-rusting metal 60-120 2-4

Sanding varnished

surfaces 120-400 2-4

Sanding natural wood 60-240 2-6

Operation

• Switch on the machine and put to the surface,

after the machine has reached its maximum

speed.

• Lead the machine carefully and smoothly over the

surface.

• Do not excess too much pressure to the machine,

in order to prevent the sanding-paper from quick

wear-out and the motor from overload.

• Let the machine not rest on a certain place too

long, since it will grind-off too much of the mate-

rial.

• Do not switch-off the machine, as long as it is

placed on the workpiece. Always take the machine

from the surface and then switch-off.

Dust-extraction

The Delta-sander is equipped with an adaptor for a

vacuum-cleaner. for the reason of your health, it is

recommended to connect a vacuum-cleaner during all

sanding jobs.

Maintenance

• Always disconnect the Delta-sander from the

power-supply, before doing any cleaning-jobs on

the machine.

• Keep the Delta-sander clean from dust and use

only a dry cloth or brush for cleaning.

• Keep the holes in the sanding-plate free from dust.

• Do not let any liquids enter the inside of the

machine.

2 years full guarantee

The warranty period for this equipment starts on the

date of purchase. Please document the date of

purchase by presenting the original receipt.

We guarantee the following during the warranty-

period:

• free elimination of possible damages;

• free replacement of all parts that become

damaged;

• including free specialist service (i.e., assembly by

our specialists free of charge).

All of the above are based upon the fact that damages

are not due to improper treatment.
