The instructions include safety guidelines and other information

important for the proper functioning of the appliance. Please

read the instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place.

If the appliance changes hands, be sure to give the instructions

to the new owner. It is in your own interest to follow all safety

guidelines.

Safety›instructions››

• The ladyshaver has been designed for the removal of your body

hair. It has not been designed for commercial use but for home

use only.

• Carmen cannot accept liability for any damage caused by the

appliance being used for any purpose other than that intended,

used incorrectly or repaired improperly.

• The ladyshaver complies with all relevant safety standards.

Nevertheless use the ladyshaver only in compliance with the

safety information and as described in this instruction leaet!

• This appliance doesn’t operate with mains voltage so that the

risk of electric current can be excluded. This ladies’ shaver is

suitable for both wet and dry shaving and it is splash-proof.

It can, for example, be used in the shower; must not, however,

be allowed to submerge completely in water!

• Danger of electricity!

Don’t touch the ladyshaver with wet hands if you place it into

the charging stand or remove it! Don’t adjust the ladyshaver

into the charging stand while it is wet.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including

children) with limited physical sensory or mental abilities or

lack of experience and/or knowledge unless they are under

the supervision of a person responsible for their safety or were

instructed by him/her in how to use the appliance.

• Charging station

By all means put up the charging station outside the splash

zone and protect the station and the line cord against wetness!

There is severe risk of suffering a life threatening electrical

shock should any part of the charging station or its mains

adaptor come into contact with water! Although this danger

may be minimised with an earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB)

it cannot be completely ruled out! Therefore never use the

charging station close to bath, shower or washbasin when these

are being used.

• Mains adaptor:

Only use the charging station with the mains adaptor with

which it is delivered. Only use the delivered mains adaptor with

your charging station and ever disconnect it from the mains by

unplugging it from the socket or by removing its connecting

lead from the appliance. Follow this procedure every time the

appliance malfunctions, is being cleaned or maintained and after

every time it has been used.

Never touch the mains adaptor with wet hands

(Fig. 1)

Please be advised that the appliance is only suitable for use

with an electricity supply of 100 - 240 volt/ 50 - 60 Hz and will,

therefore, not work in countries that have electrical supplies that

differ from this.

• Always follow these instructions when using the appliance

particularly in the presence of children, pets or disabled people!
