Clean the ladyshaver after every use! It can be cleaned wet or dry.
Dry cleaning
• Switch off the ladyshaver.
• Grip the shaver head by the two indentations on the sides of
the shaving head and lift up the foil frame
(Fig. 6)
.
• Brush the shaving unit with the cleaning brush supplied
(Fig. 7)
.
• Also clean the area under the cutting unit and brush clean the
upper cover.
• Press the upper cover back onto the shaver.
• The housing can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
• Place the protective cover back over the shaver before putting
it away.
Cleaning with water
The battery and rechargeable battery models are also suitable for
cleaning under running water.
• Switch off the appliance.
• Press the two indentations by the trimming head and pull
it away.
• Rinse the foil mesh and the cutting unit under running water
(Fig. 8 and Fig. 9)
.
• Remove remaining hair from the housing with the brush.
• Leave the shaver to dry and then replace the trimming head.
• Replace the protective cover before putting the shaver away.
Care
It is advantageous to oil the foil and the trimmer from time to
time with a little drop of sewing machine oil to ensure that the
cutting parts work at their best
(Fig. 10)

Maintenance
The appliance encloses wear parts. The condition of the trimmer
foil and the blade block will determine the quality of the shave.
The cutting units are susceptible to natural wear and tear.
Changing the trimmer foil (Fig. 11)
• Grasp the trimmer head at the two indentations and remove
from the housing.
• Pull the trimmer foil out of the trimmer head by its tag.
Only grip the trimmer foil by its tag to avoid possibly causing
damage!
• Guide the new trimmer foil into the same position on the
trimmer head.
• Replace the trimmer head.
Change the blade block (Fig. 12)
• Grip the trimmer head by the indentations and remove from
the housing.
• Hold the blade block at both ends and lift it from its location.
• Put the new blade block into position.
• Replace trimmer head.
When ordering spare parts (trimmer foil and blade block) please
quote the correct appliance type according to the inscription on
the appliance. You nd the inscription on the appliance at the back
side of the appliance.
Environment›and›disposal››
Removing the rechargeable battery
Do not dispose of the integrated battery in the domestic waste.
At the end of its service life, it can be removed from the device
as follows:
Discharge the battery by leaving the shaver switched on until the
motor stops. To open the device, draw the battery compartment
cover backwards. Cut off the contact plates at both poles of the
battery and take the battery out
Disposal of rechargeable battery
Dispose of the battery only at those locations specially designated
for this. The packaging materials are paper/cardboard and plastics
and should be disposed of separately in the recycling (green) bins.
At the end of its life the appliance should be disposed of in an
environmentally correct manner. It complies with the guidelines
2002/96/EC of the WEEE/Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Order. (“Electrical and Electronic Used Appliances Statutory Order”).
Your local disposal tip will gladly give further advice and informa-
tion. Do not dispose of in normal household waste!
