OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
When leaving the premises, the system must be Armed.
However, before doing so, check that all windows are
closed and locked, all protected doors are closed and
Motion Sensors are not obstructed. Ensure that pets
are restricted to areas not protected by Motion
Sensors.
The system has two arming modes, ARM and Part-
Arm . The Part-Arm mode allows for zone 2 to be left
in a Disarmed state while the Zone 1 is Armed.
When the system is Armed red STATUT LED on the
Control Panel will flash.
ARM
The system can be set in ARM mode using the Remote
Controller as follows:
Remote Controller:
Press the ‘ARM’ button,
PART-ARM
The system can be set in PART-Arm mode using the
Remote Controller as follows:
Remote Controller:
Press the ‘PART-ARM’ button, .
DISARM
The system can be Disarmed using the Remote
Controller as follows:
Remote Controller:
Press the ‘DISARM’ button, .
ALARM MEMORY
The corresponding Zone LED on the Control Panel will
flash. Alarm memory can be cleared by entering arm
or part-arm mode.
PANIC ALARM
A full Alarm condition can be immediately initiated
at any time (whether the system is Armed or Disarmed)
in the event of threat or danger by activating a Panic
switch on the remote controller or Control Panel.
Control Panel
Press
more than 3 seconds will generate full
alarm condition.
Remote Controller:
Slide the Panic switch upwards.
The alarm will continue either for the alarm duration
or until the system is disarmed.
TAMPER PROTECTION
If the rear cover of any device is removed or if the
Control Panel is removed from the wall then a Full
Alarm condition will be initiated even if the system is
Disarmed. The alarm condition will continue either for
the alarm duration or until the system is Disarmed. The
‘PANIC LED on the Control Panel will flash to indicate
an alarm has occurred.
Note: The Tamper protection facility on the wireless
siren operates independently. If the Tamper on the
Siren is activated this will not be indicated at the
Control Panel.
BATTERY MONITORING
In the event of adapter (option) being disconnected
from the Control Panel, the Control Panel by
consuming 4 new batteries can sustain 2 years of
normal operation (under standby mode).
Note: Before removing the rear cover on any device to
replace the battery ensure that the system is put into
Test mode to avoid initiating a Full Alarm condition.
The low battery indication for each system component
is as follows:
Control Panel
Under low battery conditions the LED on the
panel will flash three times at 3 second intervals.
Remote Controller
When the Remote Controller is operated under low
battery conditions the transmit LED will flash when the
