Enlarging and moving the screen section (zoom)
1 During playback, press »ZOOM«.
2 Press »ZOOM« to select the zoom factor.
– The DVD/VCR recorder enlarges a screen section.

4 Press »ZOOM« to return to normal playback.
Switching the dubbed language or the audio
format
These settings allow you to listen to a dubbed language other than
the default one if the DVD provides alternatives.
1 Press »AUDIO« during playback.
– Display: for example »Audio 1. Ger«, the current audio lan-
guage is displayed.
2 Press »AUDIO« to select the audio language you want.
Note:
The structure of the DVD itself may stop you from switching the
audio language. In this case you can usually make the setting in
the DVD menu.
Selecting and displaying subtitles
If the DVD provides subtitles, they can be displayed on your TV
screen.
When subtitles are available in several languages, you can select
your preferred language.
1 Press »SUBTITLE« during playback.
– Display: for example »Subtitles 1. Ger«.
2 Press »SUBTITLE« to select the subtitle language.
Notes:
To switch off the subtitles, keep pressing »SUBTITLE« until
»Off« appears in the display.

deactivating subtitles. In this case you can usually make the
setting in the DVD menu.
