3. Power Supply

AC/DC Adaptor

1. Connect the supplied adaptor’s DC output plug to the DC-in jack of the unit.

2. Firmly and securely plug the supplied adaptor’s AC plug into a suitable AC main outlet. Make

sure that the main outlet’s output power matches the required power of the adaptor.

Notes:

• If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time, disconnect it from the power.

• Only use the supplied AC/DC adaptor.

• After a power outage the unit will come on again in standby mode. In order to synchronize time/

date again the unit must be switched on.

4. First Installation & Basic Functions

First Installation

1. Place the unit at a location where the signal is good.

2. For best possible reception, the rod antenna should be fully extended and adjusted as needed.

3. When you power the unit for the rst time, it will automatically switch to DAB+ mode and do a full

scan. Once the scan is nished the rst found station will be played.

Switching the Unit On & Off (Standby Mode)

1. Power the unit as described above.

2. To switch the unit on, press the button. The unit will switch to the last mode used.

3. To switch the unit off (standby mode), press the button once again.

Mode Selection

To select between DAB+, FM, and AUX modes press the MODE button and then select the desired

mode using the NAVIGATE knob and then OK.

Volume Control

• Increase the volume by rotating the VOLUME knob clockwise.

• Decrease the volume by rotating the VOLUME knob counter-clockwise.

5. Main Menu

At any operation mode you can access the unit’s main menu by pressing the MENU button. Navigate

through the menu using the NAVIGATION knob or the ▲/TUNING+ / ▼/TUNING- buttons. To enter

sub-menus or to conrm any settings press OK. Press BACK to return to previous menus or exit.

Availability of some menu items may depend on the current mode.

Preset Recall Recall a preset from the preset list.

Preset Store Store the current radio station to the preset list.

Station List View the station list.

Scan Full scan for available radio stations.

Manual Tune Manual tuning of the frequencies.

Prune Invalid Removes invalid stations from the station list.

DRC

High

This function reduces the difference between the loudest and quietest audio

being broadcast.

Effectively, this makes quiet sounds comparatively louder, and loud sounds

comparatively quieter.

Note: DRC only works if it is enabled by the broadcaster for a specic sta-

tion.
