BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging material and check if the appliance is complete.
• Unroll the cord.
• When using for the first time little smell can occure, this is harmless and will disappear soon.
INTENDED USE
Meat, fish, chicken or any kind of food which is bought in a larger
amount can be bag sealed in vacuum in small portions for preserving,
freezing and storing.
To preserve left overs.
To preserve lunch snacks to bring to school, office camping or picnic.
To pack tea leaves, herbs, coffee to preserve the flavours.
Even to pack other objects than food, e. g. coins, documents, CD-Rom
etc. to protect it from moisture or dust.
OPERATION
Short term operation: After each sealing process let the unit
cool down for approx. 80 sec. If not the unit can be damaged.
the unit is designed for a process of 11 sec. of suction/sealing
and 80 sec. of break (stated short term operation) means after
each suction/sealing process keep 80 sec. break to avoid
overheating of the motor.
Producing a bag
• Plug in and lift the lid to pull some foil over the welding wire.
• First seal one side of the foil by pushing down the lid with both
hands equally on left and right side until a click sound is sounding
and both control lamps are illuminated. Keep the lid pushed down
until the red control lamp switches off.
In one operation cycle only the bag has been sealed and cut off.
• Remove the foil gently and slowly from the welding wire.
Do NOT touch the hot welding wire to avoid burning.
• Pull out the foil as long as desired and repeat the sealing process
as described above.
Sealing vacuuming
• Do NOT suck any fluids out of the foil bag, otherwise the unit
can be damaged !
• Do NOT fill any fluids into the foil bags, the unit is NOT suited
for this purpose!
• For best result do not fill the bag over two-thirds.
• Ensure that the food is not hot when sealing and vacuuming.
