Make sure that the sealing-rim area of the bag is clean, fat-free and dry, other wise the denseness of the
finished seam is reduced. After each sealing process remove the bag carefully to avoid unwanted air
entering in the bag.
• To get best result make sure that the clean bag is pulled flat without folds over the welding wire.
Now place the open side of the bag over the welding wire and place the vacuum nozzle inside the bag.
Gently press the lid just on the left side, the appliance begins to vacuum the air - this can be clearly heard
and seen. You recognize the beginning of vacuum process due to the start up sound of the vacuum pump.
Once the air has been extracted or the desired result has been achieved, you should press down, in
addition, the front right side of the lid – the front left side of the lid should remain pressed down – to start
the sealing process. Keep both sides pressed down until the red lamp goes out to indicate the end of the
sealing process. Afterwards, open the lid carefully and remove the bag carefully to avoid unwanted air
entering in the bag. After all air is extracted, press the lid on both sides to start the sealing process.
WARNING: Do NOT vacuum longer as 11 seconds, otherwise the motor can overheat and the unit can
be damaged!
Caution! For best performanceand ideal weld seam the size of the foil material for bags should not be
more than 0,5 mm. Additional foil rolls can be purchased in the shop where the appliance is sold.
DATE STAMPING
• The appliance is fitted with a date stamping function. The stamp is
located in the left front side. 6 wheels can be adjusted, so that day,
month and year of your sealing can be stamped.
• Therefore you turn the wheels until they show the correct date. Insert the
foil roll with the white strip on the left side. During sealing the date will
then be stamped on the strip.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution! Danger of electric shock! Aftre each use and before cleaning unplug. Never immerse the unit,
the plug or the cord into water or any other liquid!
• Clean the housing with a damp cloth only and dry with a soft cloth.
• Do not use sharp or scouring cleaning agents or metall objects to clean. This avoids scratches and
damage on the plastic surface.
• Foil remains on the welding wire or the silicone profile are to be removed by welding without foil.
• Put the cord into the cable compartment for storing
• Store the unit at a dry place which is unapproachable for children.
