Cold Cucumber Soup

2 field cucumbers Peel, halve, deseed, dice

400 ml cold vegetable Put half aside and other half

stock into the blender

1 pot plain yoghurt

100 grams crème

fraiche Add ingredients and purée at

level 1

Salt, cayenne pepper

A few drops of lemon

juice Season well and chill

1 hard boiled egg Chop

1 bunch chives Chop and garnish

Baby food

Mashed Carrot

Cook carrots until soft in slightly salted water.

Blend at level 1 with a small amount of butter.

Other vegetables can be prepared in the same way,

perhaps adding a boiled potato.

Mashed Fruit

Soften a rusk in some orange juice and blend with a

banana at level 1 until very fine.

You can make another vegetable purée for babies

that is just as good with a small fresh carrot, a piece

of apple, a piece of banana and a piece of rusk or

crispbread. You can add a spoonful of honey to

sweeten it.

Dips

Guacamole

1 avocado Peel, remove stone, chop into

small pieces and place in

blender

40 ml lemon juice

cup sour cream

1 tsp chopped garlic

1 tsp chilli sauce Blend all ingredients at level 2

Pesto

40 grams fresh basil Place ingredients in blender

4 cloves of garlic and process to a paste at

25 grams pine level 2

kernels

50 grams parmesan cheese

150 ml olive oil

Salt, pepper Season

Approx. 3 tbls olive oil Drizzle over the sauce

Drinks and Cocktails

Margarita

60 ml Tequila Blend all ingredients with the

60 ml Cointreau ice cubes at level 2.

80 ml lime juice

ice cubes Dip glass rim in salt

Bloody Mary

1 cup tomato juice Blend all ingredients with the

60 ml Vodka ice cubes at level 2

60 ml lemon juice

1 egg white

salt and pepper

tsp Tabasco

tsp Worcestershire sauce

Ice cubes

Celery leaves Place on finished drinks as a

garnish

Pina Colada

120 ml pineapple juice Blend all ingredients and ice

60 ml coconut cream cubes at level 2

60 ml black rum

Ice cubes Garnish with pineapple

chunks

Watermelon and Vodka Slushie

2 cups diced Blend all ingredients and ice

watermelon cubes at level 2

30 ml Vodka
