This is normal operation
when using the preset for
Economy or indicated
humidity settings. The
humidistat within the
appliance adjusts to
maintain your desired
comfort level. To run
continuously, select that
setting (see operating
instructions).
Room humidity is very high.
Dehumidifier is set to
continuous setting.
Room temperature is not
within operating range
(below 4.5 degrees or
above 38 degrees C).
Room humidity is not within
operating range (below
10% or above 98%)
Heat exchange while the
compressor is on.
Solution
Plug unit in.
Check fuse or outlet.
Follow emptying instruction in
this manual.
Remove reservoir and adjust
float, making sure that it can
move freely.
Make sure tank is seated in the
appliance correctly.
The dehumidifier will run until
humidity level is reduced and
reaches your desired setting.
Select one of the other settings
on the dehumidifier (see
operating instructions).
Wait until room temperature is
within safe operating
temperature.
Relocate your dehumidifier to
another room and operate
normally.
If below 10% you do not need
to run your dehumidifier at this
time. If above 98%, select to
run continuously.
Relocate your dehumidifier to
another room and operate
normally.
This is normal operation.

2. Clean and dry the dehumidifier thoroughly as
per the cleaning instructions above.
3. Make sure all parts are dry before storing. Do
not store the appliance with any water in the
reservoir.
4. If you are using a carbon odor filter, dispose
of it at this time. Do not store the appliance
with the carbon odor filter in place.
5. Store upright in a cool, dry location.
6. Order your new filter so you will be prepared
for next season.
SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any
electrical or mechanical functions on this unit.
Doing so will void the warranty. The insides of
the unit contain no user serviceable parts.
Only qualified personnel should perform all
servicing.
2. Should the unit stop working, first check the
fuse in the plug (UK only) or fuse/circuit
breaker at the distribution board is operating,
before contacting the manufacturer or service
agent.
3. If you need to exchange the unit, please
return it in its original carton, with a sales
receipt, to the store where you purchased it.
4. Should your humidifier require service, please
contact your local dealer.
5. Under the environment with injected current,
the appliance may malfunction and require
user unplug and plug in after a minute to
reset the appliance.

The wires in the mains lead are coloured as such:
GREEN AND YELLOW - EARTH
BROWN - LIVE
BLUE - NEUTRAL
Please note that the colour of these mains wires
may not correspond with the colour markings
that identify the terminals in your plug. Please
proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured GREEN AND YELLOW
must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter 'E' or with the earth symbol
The BROWN coloured wire must be connected
to the terminal, which is marked with the letter
"L" or is coloured RED.
The BLUE coloured wire must be connected to
the terminal, which is marked with the letter "N"
or is coloured BLACK.
NOTE: If the terminals in the plug are not marked
or if you are unsure or in doubt about the installation
of the plug please contact a qualified electrician.
If a 13A 3-pin plug is fitted, it must be an ASTA
approved plug, conforming to BS1363 standard.
Replacement 3A fuses must be BSI or ASTA
BS1362 approved.

person acquiring the appliance second hand
or for commercial or communal uses.
Any repaired or replaced appliance will be
