Accessories

Adding accessories is permitted, provided that you inform FordLease

accordingly in advance. If you remove the accessories, no traces or damage

should remain.

APK (MOT)

All new cars with gasoline or electric engines must be inspected after four

years. Cars that run on diesel or LPG must be inspected after three years.

The exact date for your vehicle can be found on www.rdw.nl. Please make

timely appointments with your dealer for the above inspections. We advise

you to combine the APK with a regular maintenance appointment and

please remember to bring along your registration documents.

Tyres

For replacing tyres, please make an appointment with your car dealer.

Fuel

Did you accidentally put in the wrong type of fuel? Then please call the

emergency number without delay. Under no circumstances should you start

the engine as driving any length on the wrong fuel can cause major damage

to the engine.

Expense forms

Other costs, including repairs abroad, can be submitted on the expense

form. You can contact us by telephone or e-mail to receive a blank copy.

Please return the completed form to us, attaching the original invoices and

do not forget to make a copy for yourself.

Theft

Always immediately report theft to FordLease and report it to the police as

soon as possible. Theft of audio and/or communication equipment (including

navigation systems) can be reported by means of completing and sending a

damage form. However, you must always report the incident to the police.

Documents

On acceptance of your lease car, you receive the following documents:

· international insurance card;

· damage / accident report form;

· proxy for international use (proof that you are the lawful user of

the vehicle).

New documents can be requested with us by telephone or e-mail.

In the event of the vehicle registration documents being lost, please report

this to FordLease, we will apply for new documentation on your behalf.

End of lease agreement

Please return your car to a Ford dealer. The nal collection will take place by

the collection point of FordLease in Vuren. This is where the acceptance

report is created, which serves to examine the general condition of the car.

What should you return?

· the registration documents;

· international insurance card;

· the car’s maintenance log and instruction manual;

· all keys (including master-key and code card);

· any accessories included in the lease contract.

Please note: Remember to contact FordLease by telephone or e-mail in

order to conrm returning your car. It is also important for all claims to have

been reported before returning the car.

Third parties use

Third parties may use your car, as long as they have a valid driver’s licence

and are careful with your car.
