Maintenance

The manufacturer’s instruction manual will indicate when maintenance and

service is required for your car. Please remember to make service appoint-

ments with your dealer in due course.

Please frequently and personally check the tyres, airconditioning, oil level

and the other uids in accordance with your car instruction manual.

Break-down

In the event of break-down, please call our emergency number

+31 (0)20 658 30 03 for road-side assistance. This number is available

24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Damage to windows

Please always report any window damage immediately as quick response

sometimes prevents more damage. In case of a broken window, please

contact your dealer.

Damage

Please report any damage to FordLease within 48 hours by submitting a

fully completed European damage form.

In the following events, we recommend contacting the police:

· if there is any doubt or any difference in opinion regarding which party

was at fault;

· physical injury of a party / the parties involved;

· if you suspect alcohol or drugs abuse of the counterparty;

· if you are unsure if the other party is properly insured;

· in the event of driving away after a collision;

· in the event of an incident abroad.

If it is unsafe to continue your journey with your car, you can call our

emergency number.

Insurance

Your lease agreement by default includes a third party insurance, insurance

for the car body and insurance for passenger injuries.

Please remember that any property, goods you transport, mobile private

accessories, communication devices and damage you cause when driving

speed trails and contests or driving under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or

medication, are not covered.

Your lease car is insured for almost all European countries. The list of

countries can be found on your international insurance card.

Please note: This insurance only relates to your lease car.

Any trailers or caravans are subject to separate private insurance.

Replacement transport

Please check your lease agreement to see if you are entitled to a

replacement vehicle.

Please conrm to us by phone or e-mail when you have returned a rental car

(This does not apply to replacement cars provided by your dealer).

You will receive a return conrmation code.

Winter tyres

If winter tyres are included in your lease agreement, you can have these

tted at your dealer. Changing to winter tyres is possible in October,

November and December. Changing back to summer tyres is possible in

March or April. Please always exchange summer and winter tyres at the

same dealer.
