9 ASSEMBLY
Do not operate this mitre saw until it has been fully assembled and correctly prepared for use
in accordance with this instruction manual.
9.1 Assembling the extension hoops
▪ Loosen the screws of the side extension hoops
▪ Place the extension hoops in both side holes.
▪ Tighten the extension hoop screws and make sure that the extension hoops are secure
and cannot be moved during the operation.
9.2 Assembling the clamp
The clamp (4) can be installed on either left or right side of the guide fence. Insert the vise rod
into the hole in the guide fence and fasten with locking screw.
10 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
10.1 Transporting the mitre saw
To transport the power tool, use the retaining pin (16).
Pull the mitre saw downwards and lock it in the lowered position by pulling the retaining pin
and turn a quarter turn until the retaining pin engages. That way, the saw is secured.
10.2 Dust and chip extraction (fig.4)
For integrated dust extraction, place the dust bag (15) on the sawdust outlet.
For external dust, you can use a vacuum cleaner hose.
The dust bag is only for a partial dust removal!
10.3 Clamping the work piece
Make sure the work piece can’t be catapulted. The clamp (4) is the most perfect gadget to
avoid this.
▪ Press the work piece against the fence (5) and between the clamp
▪ Tighten the clamp (4) clockwise to secure the work piece.
10.4 Horizontal mitre angle (Fig.1)
▪ Loosen the turntable lock screw (25).
▪ Turn the turntable (7) and scale pointer (21) to the desired angular setting on the dial (6)
and tighten the turntable lock screw (25).
10.5 Adjusting of the cutting angle
The angle gauges are set at the factory, but we recommend that for precision work you check
and if necessary calibrating them as follows.
▪ 90° bevel angle: Lock the upper arm in its lowered position by the retaining pin (16), and
set bevel and mitre angles to 0° on the angle gauges. Place a try square at the side of the
saw blade and table fence (5), if the mitre angle is not 90° bevel angle, achieve the right
angle by loosen the lock button for the angle adjustment and the 2 fence screws, adjust
the alignment of the fence in relation to the saw blade end re-tighten the 2 fence screws.
10.6 Vertical bevel angle (Fig. 2)
The vertical bevel angle can be set in the range of 0° to 45°. The vertical bevel scale shows
the currently set in degrees.
▪ Loosen the locking button (19), if tightened.
▪ Swing the tool arm with the handle to the required angle.
▪ Tighten the locking button (19).
